Keeps on learning

It’s exciting to see how much our boy has grown and learned many things. He can actually say a lot of words already and a sentence. He can say, “Where did it go?” Isn’t that amazing? He is going to turn 2 next month and it’s pretty cool to hear him say those words I can’t wait until he can finally say mom or dad. LOL! He can say a complete sentence already before he could even say mommy or daddy unlike most kids. It’s definitely a big world out there and there’s a lot of learning to do. Just one step at a time and he will get there. Reading him books or perhaps listening to audio book will really improve his speech skills.

Croco Dundee

I don’t usually like old movies. But, this Crocodile Dundee is really funny I just have to watch it. LOL! The other day was the first one and tonight the second sequel. I just find the character of this lead actor entertaining that’s why I just have to pass the time watching even if it’s not that interesting to me. His antics are comedic. Hehehe. Anyway, I hope I can finish it. It’s getting late here.

Lighting Show Place

I’m glad my car’s light is fixed. Hubby have been putting it off for weeks and finally had the chance to have it checked or else the cops will notice it at night and get a ticket which will cost us even more. Anyway, what a difference it is to have the freedom to drive around town. It’s not easy when only one in the family drives. It’s quite a challenge too before I acquired my license. Thank goodness for determination and encouragement. LOL! Oh well, speaking of light Minka lighting is available at lightingshowplace.com if you’re looking for one.

Out for a golf tour

Hubby is out for a local golf tournament today. He assigned me to open up our business later today. He thinks I can do it. I’ll try my best though. It’s not really that difficult. In fact, I don’t even have to stay there all day and it’s kind of self-service for this season while we don’t have anybody to watch it for us or when he is practically away just for a day. We tried it last week and seemed to be a good idea.

Photo holiday cards

The holidays are coming. Have you got your photo holiday cards ready yet? I know, it’s early but it’s good to be all set. You never know how many people you will be sending them to and for sure you don’t want to miss anybody. So, get them all prepared will you? I used to make my own but with so many things to prioritize, I will order them online this time. I am sure I will find a good deal with it. You can, too!

Candy recall with Melamine

I received an e-mail earlier from a family member telling that parents have to be careful with the coming Halloween when it comes to the candies that their kids are going to collect. There is a recall on certain candies namely Sherwood brand Pirate’s Gold Milk Chocolate coins due to the Melamine content which is the ingredient in milk product that has caused many infants death in China. They are sold at Costco and in dollar stores so be careful parents and tell others too. So, don’t let your kids eat those Pirate coins!

Coffee drinker

Hubby is a coffee drinker. He can’t start a day without a cup of it or two. I am not into it though unless it’s sweet and light. I can drink a Starbucks coffee and finish a medium cup. Of course with all those artificial flavorings, you will end up loving even if you pay too much for a cup of coffee.

Gosh, coffee franchises must make a lot of money. I know from someone that most of the money they make from their store is from selling coffee more than anything else. It surely is a good business as people will never stop drinking coffee especially those who go to work early in the morning. No wonder!

Warm day for a walk

My son is napping right now. I’m glad he is because yesterday, we were so busy he forgot to nap. Well, it was partly my fault because I took him out for a long walk and he was overwhelmed with playing at his daddy’s work place. Anyway, yesterday was a fine warm day for fall so we took advantage of it. We never know when is next as it is getting colder each day.

Laptop memory

Hubby’s laptop is all worn out. I mean, it’s still working but he dropped it a few times and didn’t break at all. It just doesn’t look like it was well taken care for. He might need an additional laptop memory soon, too. He uses it a lot with video editing and storing them for golf swing analysis for his students that’s why it’s been an important tool for him at work. I just wonder if it’s about time to get its memory upgraded. I have to check it out and perhaps get a good deal online for it.

Halloween costume

I don’t know just yet what I would dress up my son for Halloween. Last year, he was a Pooh Pumpkin. He is barely 2 years old and still can’t decide for himself so I will pick his next costume for him yet again. LOL! His daddy said he can dress up as an old famous golfer whose name I forgot. He just needs a hat for it and then bring along a golf club — sounds good to me. But, I would look into getting a cartoon character pretty soon. It might be to cold to get out that day anyway just like last year.
