Our 2 bathrooms have at least 5 light bulbs each. It’s funny when our son gets in there and begins counting them. He would say, 2, 5, and 8. They are his favorite numbers. He is going to be two years old at the end of this month and he has learned a lot already. He is definitely thriving. He has at least 50 words learned from either the cartoons he likes to watch or from us in our conversations. We do talk to him like a big person, too. Anyway, speaking of bathroom lighting, we just replaced a dead bulb at our entrance door. It helps a lot.
We’re not moving anytime soon but I know it can be daunting to be in a situation in which you have to pack up stuff that you don’t let movers do for you. I just had a baby when we last moved to our place and it wasn’t the most convenient time. I don’t know how we did it but boy was it too much work for my husband. He had to do all the packing as I still wasn’t at my best after I delivered our boy.
We did hire one of those moving trucks of a moving company recommended to us by a relative, but didn’t have a good experience with them. Anyway, that was almost two years ago. I don’t think I am up for another one yet. Perhaps when the right time comes that we will finally find a place we can settle for forever.
Two weeks or so ago, we were pleased to learn from our real estate agent that our condo is finally going to be rented out. An older couple showed interest and actually has moved in the first week of this month. Although, we didn’t get the rent that we targeted to get since it’s a couple of hundreds of bucks lesser than we really wanted we had to accept the fact that rents are also affected by the economic situation of this country.
We had to go for it just so we won’t end up waiting for nothing as we will also be paying the monthly maintenance of that place. We could use the money we get for winter as we will be on vacation like usual. Anyway, I wonder if the hubby got home owner insurance for it. I would guess that also applies with condominium or apartment owners. Don’t you think?
