A Friend’s Birthday

Saturday, July 26, 2008

Today is my friend’s birthday. She has a wish list but I decided to get her something that is not listed there just to surprise her. I actually asked her beforehand if she would love to get a Coach Wristlet that I’ve been eyeing but she too will surely like. I asked what she really wanted to get from her wish list in Amazon but she said that nothing in particular so I’m sure she wouldn’t mind that cute little present she will get from me next week.

I know, it will be a little late but it took me a little while to decide what I really wanted to give her and that’s taken care of already. I got if off eBay since there are really good bargains in there that is if you get the authentic item for a factory price. You just have to do your homework when it comes to the seller’s feedback so your purchase will be worth it. Anyway, I have to check out on a/c compressor online. Someone needs my help.

Swing Sets

I want my son to have the toys that he likes. I don’t want him to be left out when it comes to development as it’s very important that his progress is on the right track. Toys do help them learn and discover. Anyway, I would love to take him to the park too but time just doesn’t permit whenever I have chores at home. It would be nice to get him swing sets so even if we are at home, he can still enjoy playing outdoor even if it’s only at the yard.

Whether you are busy feeding your little tot or you’re doing your morning exercise, you will still be able to talk to your loved one especially when it’s a very important call. It may still not be safe to drive while on our cell phone though using the headset, but it sure will make life a lot easier for you. Just be very careful.

Fire Engine Toddler Bed

Wednesday, July 16, 2008

I had setup a fire engine bed yesterday after taking a crib apart for my son. It was rather time-consuming but worth all the time. We are lucky that in my hubby’s family, we get hand me downs when it comes to our son’s clothing and baby stuff even before he was born. Until now, we get new bags of used clothes and toys. The fire engine bed is the biggest so far second to the crib but the crib was harder to setup since I had to do it by myself. I tend not to wait for any help. That’s me. I get too anxious when it comes to putting things together. Anyway, this fire engine bed sure saves us a lot of money. And for the price, I am thankful enough we didn’t have to buy it ourselves.

Product Features

* Molded plastic fire engine toddler bed

* Holds standard crib mattress (sold separately)

* Working night-light

* Includes mattress support

* Minimal adult assembly required

Digital Macro Photography by Ross Hoddinott

Sunday, July 13, 2008

Since buying the macro lens, before I even got it I really wanted to learn more by reading. I found this book for digital macro photography that I think will help me. I have so many things to learn and reading is just one of the things that will guise me somehow besides practice of course. This book has a pretty decent review so might as well take it from the people who got this already. I have it up on my wish list at Amazon. I will definitely be checking it out.

Product Description

With a close-up camera lens, shutterbugs can capture a landscape in a water droplet, a dragon’s face in a dragonfly, an alien planet in a backyard fungus, or a futuristic civilization in a computer circuit board. The magic field of macro photography comes alive through digital cameras and Photoshop programs, as simple instructions combine with jargon-busting tips to demonstrate each essential technique. More than 200 full-color photos and 750 illustrations showcase the possibilities for making spectacular images with ordinary equipment.
