As I have been blabbering about in the past days, my son is going to be baptized a couple of weeks from now and I am glad we are all set when it comes to the christening set that he's going to wear that day. I was thinking of getting one online if not going to shop at a baby store. We went to Babies'R'Us hoping we could find what we wanted. Indeed we found it at the clothing aisle of the store. I checked about baptismal gown/suit before and already have compared prices from several stores online. I found that going to the store itself was worth it - in my opinion by the way if you wanted to make sure you get what you really wanted. We got the christening set which sizes are all 3-9 months and 16lbs. limit only. My son is already is going to be 7 mos. old next week and he's a little over 17 lbs already. The christening set still fits though which is good - at least he's only going to wear it once for a few minutes. There's no reason to get the expensive kind or the fancier style for one time occasion. Well, if you think of passing it on to your future sons, relatives or friend's babies, it is still worth it to get a not so shabby yet decent looking set. If you're thinking about getting it from the said store, buying it online might not be the good choice if you only have a budget of less than $50. I just found out that the website only has this cheapest one on the photo. It's not cheap at all for less than an hour of use, right? I suggest going to the store near you is best. They only have it for $30. Don't be fooled but that one on the photo is $89.99 online.
