I finally decided to give photography a chance. I want to improve that’s for sure so giving it up after spending some money on the equipments and accessories wasn’t a good idea. I got a pro account now at flickr to motivate me to take pictures even joined groups to inspire me. I’m glad tit isn’t too late as I have planned to start the year afresh with photography yet nothing pushed me hard enough to it. LOL! Well, it’s coming along and I just hope it’s not going to end so soon. That would be my resolution. The trip next week should also make me come up with fresh photos especially with our vacation. I have to make sure our timeshare membership cards are in our wallets before we make the first leg of our trip. Hope it’s going to be a memorable one.

We are going to stay at Westgate Lakes on our Florida vacation this month

As I have mentioned, we will be in Florida in the next few weeks. We will stay for a week in our Westgate timeshare in Orlando. I’m glad we decided to invest on it so we don’t have to spend a lot of money on hotel reservations every time we go there for vacation which is every winter. It was a good idea for us as hubby loves Florida he can’t pass a year without going there unless something more important comes up which may hinder us from going. When I had our baby we did have to skip it as I was due on a winter. Well, now that we have planned it ahead like usual and have a reservation at Westgate Lakes we are all looking forward to Disney World and meeting some of our friends over there.

On errands and car fix

Hubby’s car has been fixed. The mechanic just called him so we will have to drive to the shop so he can get the car then I will drive the other car back home. Thank God I have the driver license already it definitely makes things a lot for us especially in times like this. Anyway, I have to get ready after this because he will be back soon. He went out to do some errands. It’s getting dark and my desk lamp’s bulb isn’t working. I need to get a replacement for this soon. Anyway, someone’s going to celebrate a birthday this weekend. So, it’s going to be another good time with the family.

Finally rented out

I almost forgot to mention that our condo has finally been rented out. All that work paid off and we are glad to have achieved our goal before 2008 was over. It took us at least a year before everything was done from renovation to have it posted by a real estate for rental. We did spend some money on kitchen and bathroom renovation. A new paint job was done as well to make the whole place nice after some years of not being touched by any kind of repair or touch ups. From Grohe faucets to fixtures and new cabinets with newly bought appliances, the place looks comfortably livable for our first tenant. Thanks to our benefactor for this wonderful gift. I can’t complain!

Bamboo shades for our windows

Our windows need a complete makeover. It’s the New Year’s so I think I will opt for bamboo shades just for a change. My son used to play with our window blinds a lot when he was smaller so they get broken from time to time. Now that he is a little older, he has outgrown that habit of grabbing whatever he gets a hold of. I will definitely get those bamboo shades at Payless Décor at paylessdecor.com as they have election and the sale they have online is simply amazing. I can save some bucks too.

Administrative careers

I am hoping that one day I will be free to get a career for myself. I am definitely getting it before I turn 30. I’ve never even tried any of those administrative careers. I am so inexperienced when it comes to that but I’m sure I have the potential to develop some skills in order to be efficient. I just have to be patient and wait for the right time when I can finally get a job. I don’t know when and how but the waiting is just killing me. Our son is too small to be left in a day care just yet so it’s all about waiting for now until he gets bigger. Wish me luck!

Chores and chores and chores

I decided to do my laundry today instead of waiting until Saturday because we will have a party on Sunday. I don’t want to have chores left behind when it’s time to be busy with something else or an occasion comes up. I changed all the bedding, dusted off the furniture and thank goodness our boy is napping right now. I can do some online work as well. Anyway, it’s a chilly day as the New Year’s blizzard aftermath left behind. Well, soon it will be bye for the cold days as we will be heading to the south for vacation.

Birthdays in December

I just chatted with my younger brother today. He is thankful for the birthday card I sent him and for the birthday party they had for his on the 27th and for my son’s birthday on the 28th celebrated on Christmas day with the family and some relatives back home except for us who are thousands of miles away. I am glad he is pleased for everything. It’s the only way I could show I care and it’s a way of thanking God for all the blessings he had given us for this year. Anyway, let me see this Orovo website for now and I’ll tell about our Christmas later.

Vacation, vacation, vacation!

Early next year, that is mid-January of 2009 we will be traveling to Florida for our vacation. We do this annually so winter comes and off we go to our usual vacation destination as what my hubby has been accustomed to. I don’t have any idea when he will get tired of the same place we go to every year. Perhaps we could get an accommodation in one of the best las vegas hotels in the future if ever that would be an option next time we feel like exploring new places. Anyway, that would be an idea.

I am not really into current events but I do watch a bit and overhear the latest in today’s economy on the television news. Anyway, one of the things that I know is that some big names in auto makers in the US are going out of business. The fact that the prices of some of the popular car names these days are selling for cheaper prices doesn’t sound like a good thing for these companies. Well, if you need a new car this would be a great time to buy one as you will be able to save a lot. Of course, auto insurance will also be another thing to consider for that matter. So, whatever is best for you go for it — just be smart about making a decision.
